The Story of K-POP Heroes, BIGBANG.

    Hey guys, this is Rivanti. I wanna introduce you about phenomenal idol group from South Korea who had wraped up their world tour in early 2013, BIGBANG. 

     BIGBANG is  under the management of YG Entertainment. Big Bang held their debut on August 19, 2006 during the YG Family 10th Year Concert. The group consists of G-Dragon, T.O.P, Taeyang, Daesung, and Seungri. The members involved in composing and producing their own music, especially the leader G-Dragon. Their first successful hit song is Lies, which stayed at number one on Korean charts for seven weeks. After that BIGBANG has become a famous idol group in South Korea and released many successful albums like :

• Remember (2008)

• Always (2007)
• Hot Issue (2007)
• Stand Up (2008)
• Tonight (2011)
• Alive (2012)
• Still Alive (2012)

     Beside they has debut in Korea, they also began their debut in Japan at the end of 2007. With the group on break in early 2009, the members pursued solo activities such as solo album, acting, and hosting. After 2 years hiatus, they released a new hit album Tonight, which became the very first K-pop album to reach the Top 10 on US iTunes chart and is the only non-English language album in the Top 100. The album also made them famous in global. But, in middle of 2011, Bigbang's member, Daesung had an accident, which caused one citizen passed away. Another problem was the leader G-Dragon had acussed marijuana scandal. Due to scandals, Daesung and G-Dragon decided to recovery their life about few months and couldn't appear at public.   In same year, BIGBANG won MTV EMA 2011 as Best Worldwide Act, all five members were present at the awards show to receive the award, making it especially memorable since it was Daesung and G-Dragon's first public appearance since scandals. 

     After that BIGBANG decided to make a huge comeback in 2012 with two mini abums Alive and Still Alive. BIGBANG also hold world tour concert and will be stopping on 4 continents, 13 countries, and 21 cities. The world tour finished at end of January 2013 and the members start to begin their solo activities again. G-Dragon and Daesung hold an solo concert, T.O.P filmed a movie, Taeyang worked on his solo album, and Seungri showed on many variesty shows. After their solo activities, the leader, G-Dragon told in his world tour at Beijing that BIGBANG will make a comeback on August 2013. I hope they will really make a comeback and they will hold a concert at Indonesia again. Can't wait to see their comeback.
